The Second Southern Drum Show - 6 June 2004

The sun shone, crowds flocked, and the very finest drums were on display at the 2004 Southern UK Drum Show hosted by drum trader Steve White.

In addition to some very fine vintage drums, the Jalapeno custom drums generated a great deal of interest.

Competition was fierece amongst the traders.....

Carl Palmer's drum kit was made out of melted-down Paiste 2002 cymbals. The kit featured a 5 inch "Super Krut" snare drum.

But of course the day was all about drums, cymbals and other percussi-toys. Deals were done, bargains were had and many people left very happy.

Carl Palmer put on a stunning display in the heat though the clinic probably ran on a little too long.

Winnie Mensink - organiser of the Amsterdam Drum Show - attended the event, sold a lot of books and quite a few drums.
