Vistalite Rarities - mistakesLudwig produced Vistalite drums in a variety of colours and patterns in the 1970s - but sometimes, quality control went slightly astray.... 
The picture above is of a kit owned by Matt Brennan. Although the kit is mostly a red/white/blue spiral, the second mounted tom is a blue/white/red. A full feature on the kit can be found on the very excellent VISTALITEDRUMS.COM. The kit below is owned by noted Dutch expert Wigo van der Schoot. Although the kit is mostly a yellow/black/yellow/black/yellow pattern, the second mounted has a slightly different pattern.
