Vistalite Rarities - HiPercussion tunable floor tom

Luca Luciano dug out this picture of a tunable floor tom produced by the Italian "HiPercussion" brand. HiPercussion were real innovators in the 1970s and produced one of the earliest rack systems for the modern drum kit.

This drum features a tuning mechanism - a bit like a tympani - operated by a foot pedal. If you know anything about this drum, we'd love to hear from you.
