Other Acrylic Drums - Fibes

Fibes were one of the big names of acrylic drums in the 1970s - Billy Cobham and Nick Mason were amost the big names playing Fibes Crystalite at the time (apparently some bloke called Buddy Rich was also involved....).

Nick Mason of Pink Floyd

Anyway, the owners (Martin) sold Fibes to the Corder company in 1979 and the new owners ceased production of the Crystalite line. Texas drum shop owner Tommy Robertson bought the company in 1994 and Fibes were producing acrylic drums again in the mid-90's. They're back with a vengance, making superb drums and selling all over the world. We like these drums......we like them a lot.

Jellybean....hhhmmm....nice
