Vistalite Collections - John Callesen

I am the proud owner of a approx 1972/3 Ludwig Vistalite in blue. The sizes are 12, 13, 14 tom and 16, 18 floortoms, 22 and 24 bassdrums + 5 inch snare + complete stands (hi-hat, snare, cymbals etc.) - however I only have one speed king pedal.

I bought the set 6 months ago and it was in a good but dirty condition - the previous owner had been putting black tape on the inner and outer shells to give a look of swirvel. The tape had probably been sitting there for the last 10 years so. I had to remove all the hardware, remove the tape with kerosene and then softly remove the last glue with a hair dryer. All the hardware was washed with carwax and polished with crome polish and look now like new, the shells were also washed in carwax and later polished with carpolish.
