Vistalite Collections - Henrik Madsen

I bought this beautiful Vistalite drum kit second hand in 1979. The band I played in at that time stopped in 1980, so I only played the drums for a year or so, then it was stored until 1989, when I began to play it again with a new band, and have done so ever since, more or less regularly once a week.

It was just recently, that it was brought to my attention, what kind of a Ludwig kit I was in possession of, when I went to buy a new wire snare for my Super Sensitive snare drum at the local music store.

When I was told, it was a Ludwig Vistalite kit that I had, and many people all over the world are collecting these drums, I was truly surprised, then I began to search the internet, and this is how I found your site.

My Vistalites, or "Tequila Sunrise", are in perfect condition, without any cracks and only minor scratches. The pictures was taken just after I had disassembled and polished each drum, and I think that the result is quite good, don't you ?
